Artwork Specifications

Artwork guidelines for cards, badges, lanyards, and wristbands to help achieve the best print result.

Standard PVC Cards

All cards are standard credit card size with rounded corners, with or without slot holes. PVC cards can be used for photo ID cards, membership cards, and gift cards.

Large Format Cards

Large format cards are available in the following sizes:

75mm x 110mm and 95mm x 140mm

Name Badges

Acrylic Name Badges

Can be custom shape and size.

Premium Name Badges

Variable size. Common range: 20–30mm x 70–80mm.

PVC Name Badges

Fixed size: 73mm x 27mm.

Key Tags

Supplied 3-up. Individual size: 54.02mm x 28.59mm. Thickness: 1mm.

Please allow at least 3mm bleed on your artwork.

Lanyards

Screen Printed Lanyards (PMS)

20mm lanyards: maximum printable area 16mm.

15mm lanyards: maximum printable area 11mm.

Dye Sublimation Lanyards (CMYK)

Can print edge to edge, but very fine text or detail may not be legible.

Text should be at least 2mm from the top and bottom edges.

Standard Lengths

Single hook: 900mm

Double hooks: 800mm

Lanyard length can be customised to suit your project.

Accepted Artwork Formats

.EPS, .AI, .PNG, .PDF and high resolution JPG

All artwork should be editable and at a minimum resolution of 300dpi. Vector graphics are preferred, and all fonts should be converted to outlines. Any JPG or image files should be embedded into the artwork.

We have an in-house graphic designer to help guide you with artwork and layout. While our quotes are obligation-free, design time is chargeable. If a job is cancelled, we reserve the right to charge for design work already carried out.
