Entrust Instant ID Software Installation Notes
Before installing Entrust Instant ID Software, please review the compatibility notes below. This software has specific requirements and should not be installed alongside certain older Entrust software products.
Important Installation Warning
Do not install Instant ID Software on a computer that already runs Entrust Adaptive Issuance Suite software. Instant ID uses a customised version of Adaptive Issuance, and installing it can overwrite existing components and stop the original Adaptive Issuance software from working correctly.
Any existing Adaptive Issuance software should be removed before installing Instant ID Software. Earlier versions of Instant ID also used Syntera Customization Suite (SCS) components, and these should also be removed first.
Instant ID Software should also not be installed on a computer that runs Entrust ID Works or Entrust IDCentre if both systems are connected to the same database tables and columns.
Supported Operating Systems
Instant ID Software supports 64-bit versions of Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022 and 2025 with the latest service pack installed.
